About Jerry Dalrymple

I hale from middle class America, a true, blue collar family, the son of a carpenter and stay-at-home mom. My parents, both gone now, came from rather poor families, and grew-up during the Great Depression. Both reaching adulthood during World War II. They were good people, hardworking, salt of the earth, Christian people. Dad was a strong, handsome, quiet man. His word was good as gold and there is nothing he loved more than his family and home. Mother, a petite woman, was fiercely protective of her children. Her face bore witness to her Native American (Cherokee) heritage; dark hair, dark eyes, and high cheek bones. She was quite beautiful. Little of both Laurel. The snow leopard is one of my original images taken at the Cincinnati Zoo. That background came from "the daily texture" Many of the backgrounds I create myself and a lot of the come from the daily texture.

Jerry, is this also photo painted? Gorgeous, GORGEOUS work…you are taking photographic skills into your Artistic skills and the results are breathtakingly beautiful. Your journey into hovering/lifting your subjects and dropping them into your personal backdrop fantasias with impressionist overtones is something many viewers/buyers and even fellow artists would love to see. Really beautiful work.
Jerry Dalrymple replied:
I'm not sure you sent this for which I apologize but thank you so very much for all the kind words! That may best the best comment I have ever received.
